The Managing Committee of ICAP UK Chapter is pleased to invite you at an exclusive dinner with Mr Nadeem Hussain on 8th July 2016 at 6:30PM – Shezan Restaurant, 16-22 Cheval Place Knightsbridge, London, SW7 1ES.

Mr. Nadeem Hussain is a founder and former CEO and President of Tameer Microfinance Bank, Pakistan’s first private sector microfinance bank and world leader in branchless banking. His efforts towards financial inclusion have impacted over 10 million people through extension of credit and mobile banking to the poor and the unbanked Pakistan. In 2009, Tameer partnered with an international telecom, Telenor, to provide mobile banking solutions through Easypaisa which is recognized as one of the top three branchless banking solutions by the World Bank.

Nadeem champions the cause of financial empowerment, access to healthcare, environmental sustainability, affordable housing and alternate energy. He has spent the last 10 years focusing on these areas through his leadership of Tameer and involvement with various organizations. He chaired the United Nation’s MDG Session on Financial Inclusion and was a guest speaker at Harvard and John Hopkins University where Tameer was showcased as Asia’s solution to financial empowerment. He was awarded the Global Leader Award in 2011 by C5. Prior to pursuing his passion towards financial inclusion, Nadeem worked with Citigroup for almost 3 decades.
